By accessing and using Pixel2Text ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Description of Service

Pixel2Text is an online Optical Character Recognition (OCR) service that allows users to extract text from images. The service supports multiple languages and provides both free and premium tiers with different usage limits and features.

User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or process images containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload images containing personal information of others without consent
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service

Usage Limits and Subscriptions

Free users are limited to 5 OCR extractions per day. Premium subscribers have access to unlimited extractions and additional features. Usage limits reset daily at midnight UTC.

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual Property Rights

You retain ownership of any images you upload and text extracted from them. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your images for the purpose of providing OCR services.

The Service, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Disclaimers and Limitations

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • 100% accuracy of OCR results
  • Uninterrupted availability of the Service
  • Compatibility with all image formats or qualities
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination
